Entry Fee

Rules: The regatta will be governed by rules as defined in the current edition of the “Racing Rules of Sailing,” as modified by Appendix E, the sailing instructions.

Eligibilty: The regatta is open to all boats of the US12 class whose owners are currently members of AMYA and are properly registered with the class or a recognized national authority. There will be a limit of forty (40) participants.

Entry: Eligible boats may enter by completing the entry form online or download the application and pay by mail. The entry form  will be available when the next regatta is announced.

Sailing Instructions: Sailing instructions and frequency assignments will be provided at skippers meeting, along with any rule changes. Scoring; The regatta will be in accordance with the Low Point Scoring System as set forth in Appendix A of the “Racing Rules of Sailing.” For each six (6) races sailed, one worst score will be excluded from the overall score.

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in the regatta.

Measurements: Measurements and class authenticity verification set forth in the US12 rules might be conducted onsite on a random basis as determined by the race director.
