NH Marine Patrol Boating Certificate
Get your New Hampshire boating certificate! New Hampshire law requires boat operators (age 16+) complete a National Association of State Boating Law Administration (NASBLA) boater education course prior to operating a vessel with a motor of 25hp+. Instructors from New Hampshire Marine Patrol will teach you the the rules and regulations of required for safe boating in the State of New Hampshire. At the end of the course you will take the test for your boating certificate. Ready to Launch
Have you checked the oil? Battery is dead? This women’s only course will prepare you for a safe and fun day on the lake. Topics will include safety inspections, engine fluid checks, batteries & safe starting procedures. This class will be held at the Goodhue Boat Company Showroom on Wednesday, May 22nd at 5pm. Goodhue Boat Company is located at 244 Sewall Road in Wolfeboro. Class will be taught by Kevin McCarthy.
On-Water Boating Instruction
“I’m sorry for what I said while docking the boat.” Don’t let this be you. Our On Water Instruction class will consist of learning the basic handling characteristics of boats, docking, backing, entering and leaving a slip, and turning around in limited spaces.
Each lesson will be TWO HOURS. It is the perfect class for those seeking to refine and practice their boating skills. Instruction is provided by Paul French, a NH Certified Boating Safety Instructor. Classes are held at Goodhue Boat Company in Meredith (Formerly known as Shep Brown’s Boat Basin).
