Our dedicated volunteers are the driving force in the Museum’s success. Each year, nearly 200 volunteers spend thousands of hours designing, planning, and implementing our many programs and events.
You too can help the Museum accomplish our goal of inspiring an understanding and an appreciation of the unique role New Hampshire’s lakes play in everyone’s lives. At the same time, you will discover:
A sense of accomplishment – From helping in our youth and adult boat building programs to helping organize and run our receptions and parties to writing articles for our newsletter. No matter what your interest, there is a place for you as a volunteer.
A sense of community – You will make friends with other volunteers who are just as passionate about your special interest as you are, and maybe even develop a new interest.
A sense of fulfillment – Whether you work with the public or behind the scenes, what you do will not only help the Museum. You’ll also make a difference in the lives of others.
