NHBM to Offer Children’s Story Hour in June

On Thursday, June 12 from 11:00 a.m. to noon, the New Hampshire Boat Museum (NHBM) will offer Children’s Story Hour in collaboration with Moultonborough Public Library. Families with children, ages 2 through 6, are invited to participate in the free program.

NHBM is as exciting for children as it is for adults,” said NHBM Programs Manager Anne Lennon. “This event takes place in the heart of our exhibits, in between an incredible collection of toy boats and our full-size marina exhibit. It’s such a fun atmosphere.”

During the event, Moultonborough children’s librarian Sharon Gulla will read stories, after which children are invited to participate in a craft activity. “We are excited to partner with the Moultonborough Public Library again this summer,” added NHBM Executive Director Devon Kurtz. “Connecting with all community members is important to us, and this program engages our youngest neighbors.”

Children’s story hour is free and does not require registration. Beginning Saturday, May 24, NHBM will be open Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
