On Saturday, July 15, the New Hampshire Boat Museum (NHBM) will host the annual New England Vintage Boat and Car Auction both online and at the Nicholas J. Pernokas Recreation Park (The Nick) in Wolfeboro. Featuring vintage boats and cars, fiberglass boats, sailboats, kayaks, canoes, memorabilia, and more, the event is one of the largest of its kind in New England.
Regarding items at this year’s auction, Executive Director Martha Cummings said details will be released later this spring. “People can visit our website to see what we had last year to get a sense for what we offered last year,” she said.
Some of the featured items at last year’s auction included a 1961 24 ft. Chris Craft Sportsman, 1968 20 ft. Chris Craft Grand Prix, and 1947 22 ft. Goodhue Race Boat.
Boats and cars at this year’s New England Vintage Boat and Car Auction will be displayed at The Nick for the general public to view on July 13 and 14 from noon to 5:00 p.m. Live bidding begins on Saturday, July 15 at 10:00 a.m. Bidder registration is free. Online bidding begins July 6.
