NHBM to Hold Women’s Boating Class At Goodhue Boat Company

On May 14 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., New Hampshire Boat Museum (NHBM) will hold Ready to Launch – A Women’s Boating Class at Goodhue Boat Company in Wolfeboro.

“We are excited to offer this class again this year,” said Programs Director Anne Lennon. “This is a unique opportunity to help women gain skills and feel confident handling boat maintenance and safety checks before heading out on the water.”

Designed for new and experienced boaters, this hands-on class will cover safety inspections, engine fluid checks, battery maintenance and jump starting, safe starting procedures, proper boat storage, and more. “It’s empowering to go into the season feeling prepared,” added Lennon. “This class will help you gain the knowledge and skills for a smooth and worry-free boating experience.”

Tickets are $30 for NHBM members and $35 for nonmembers. Click here to learn more or register for the women’s boating class.
