The season is not over for the New Hampshire Boat Museum (NHBM), which will offer extended hours at its Moultonborough campus through Sunday, October 13. NHBM opened its new 24,000-square-foot campus in Moultonborough at the beginning of July after acquiring the property in 2022.
“We have had a great season,” said Martha Cummings, executive director. “It just made sense to extend our hours into the fall and give folks a few more opportunities to visit our exquisite space…We will also continue to offer rides on the Millie B until Sunday, October 13.”
According to Cummings, this year’s organizational theme has been to invite the public to visit the new Campus and experience a “museum in the making” while exhibits come together. As NHBM enters “Phase II” of its expansion, Cummings said next year will look “different.” “It’s been so special to share the process of creating a museum with the community, and our finished space is going to be truly remarkable,” she added.
NHBM’s Moultonborough Campus is open Thursday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., through Sunday, September 29. After September 29, NHBM will be open Friday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. through Sunday, October 13. Admission is free. NHBM will continue offering Millie B rides until Sunday, October 13.
