Earlier this year, New Hampshire Boat Museum (NHBM) welcomed Jeff Reilly to its board of trustees.
Working in the field of financial services for more than 25 years, Reilly said he has followed the organization since it was first established in 1992. “In 2021, I became a volunteer for the Vintage Race Boat Regatta and have been involved ever since,” he added.
His interest in NHBM is multi-faceted. “I’m attracted to the museum community and to its mission to preserve the boats and lifestyle,” he said. “I’m also interested in the tremendous activities they offer for people of all ages.”
Regarding his role on the Board, Reilly cited three main areas of focus: NHBM’s volunteer program, Vintage Race Boat Regatta, and recently held New England Vintage Boat and Car Auction. “All three areas tie to events in the community that are enjoyable and bring people out,” he said.
In looking to the museum’s future, Reilly cited enthusiasm. “The museum offers programs that reach out to all lakes—not just Winnipesaukee and not just in New Hampshire,” he said. “The programs span from a lecture series and boat building to boat rides and so much more…The best is yet to come at NHBM.”
