New Hampshire Boat Museum (NHBM) will host “Rockin’ the Docks”: A Night at the Museum on Friday, June 20, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Night at the Museum will feature live music by the Redemption Band, heavy appetizers from Squam Lake MarketPlace, and a raffle with all proceeds to benefit NHBM’s operations fund.
“This is an incredibly exciting and important time for NHBM,” said Executive Director Devon Kurtz. “We are establishing ourselves as a destination that engages guests with opportunities to learn, participate in hands-on programs, and be on the water…Join us on June 20 as we launch into our season.”
Prior to the event, guests can purchase raffle tickets to enter a drawing for three prizes. The first prize is a Freedom Boat Club Membership ($9,000 value), which includes three months of dues donated by Freedom Boat Club of the Lakes Region. Valued at $4,350, the second prize is an Old Town Sportsman AutoPilot Kayak donated by Irwin Marine. The third prize is a Mission Reef Splash Mat with pump and backpack ($1,599 value) donated by Goodhue Boat Company.
“We are extremely grateful for the generous support we have received from our community,” Kurtz added. “To our sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who visits or participates in a program, you are helping to shape NHBM’s future as a hub for education, community, and cultural preservation.”
