YOUTH SAILING
AGES: 9-15 years old-Must pass a swim test
Previous sailing experience required for intermediate-advanced sessions. On the first day of lessons the children
will be tested to make sure they are in the right class.
Taught by US Sailing certified instructors, participants will learn the basics of sailing, boat handling, and knots – all on beautiful Lake Wentworth! Small class sizes allow for students of varying abilities to receive individual instruction.
Beginner students use Optimist Sailing Dinghies and move on to Sunfish when they progress to Intermediate.
Classes are held Mon-Thurs, with Friday as a rain day makeup OR a “free sail” day from 9am to 12noon.
