Each winter, a small group of volunteers meet Monday mornings in our workshop to restore and care for boats and motors in the New Hampshire Boat Museum’s permanent collection. If you enjoy working with your hands and have some experience, we’d love for you to join us.

The Restoration Crew has restored a number of boats and motors, including the Museum’s 1959 MiloCraft, a rare 1930s galvanized steel StarCraft, and a hand-made 1920s ice boat. At present they are working on a 1950s Chris Craft kit boat and a 1949 Chris Craft runabout, both of which came to the museum in pieces.

To learn more about this unique volunteer group and how to get involved, call the Museum at 603-569-4554 or email museum@nhbm.org.

Great Hospitality! My husband and I took a trip up to Wolfboro to visit the museum and we loved our own tour of the facility. We were surprised by all the different boats/accessories and background information provided. Also great for bringing children.
