From 19 Mile Bay in Tuftonboro sailors get an all-around lake sailing experience aboard a 22 foot, J/22 keelboat. Classes sail into Melvin and Moultonborough Bay or around Cow Island and into the Broads. We will teach or reinforce sailing skills and terminology as every student performs all the tasks aboard the boat, from helming to stowing sails.
Private classes are available allowing scheduling according to weather and convenience, assuring a good sailing day on the water.
Three students with any level of experience, age 16 or older, are allowed per session or private class. The US Sailing Certified instructor will focus to the abilities and experience of each individual student. A mixture of ability and experience on board is quite beneficial to the learning experience.
