Why poke around in shops or lie soaking up sun when you can be where the action is – cruising on Lake Winnipesaukee in the Millie B and the Miss Lauren. Our two 28-foot, mahogany, triple cockpit “woodies” are replica 1928 Hacker-Crafts that are accurate down to the seat colors. Riding in the Millie B and Miss Lauren you can experience the golden age of boating, when wooden boats ruled the lakes.

On the Millie B, you’ll see spectacular scenery and magnificent homes and boathouses (including the summer home of former Massachusetts governor and presidential candidate Mitt Romney). You might even spot a loon or two at the Loon Sanctuary – and maybe even see a chick riding on its mother’s back.

During the 45-minute tour, you’ll also hear fascinating stories from your Boat Captain about the lake’s history, geography, geology, and wildlife. Plus you’ll hear about some of the more interesting people who live on the lake.

The Miss Lauren leaves from Paugus Bay out of North Water Marine. You’ll have an opportunity to see how truly unique Lake Winnipesaukee is with its sheer size and have a completely different perspective from the other end of the Lake.  The Miss Lauren only offers charters right now.

Life vests are provided to children under the age of 14. Millie B and Miss Lauren passengers receive FREE ADMISSION to the New Hampshire Boat Museum.
