The Squam Lakes Association has actively monitored and protected the Squam Lakes and Watershed since the organization was founded in 1904. SLA Director of Conservation Rebecca Hanson will present the recent work the SLA is doing to protect Squam including the successful management of variable milfoil, water quality monitoring and management, watershed planning, and legislative advocacy
Bio: Rebecca Hanson has worked for the Squam Lakes Association since 2011. As the Director of Conservation for the SLA, she oversees all conservation activities for the organization, including the Squam Watershed Plan update, invasive plant management, water quality monitoring programs, and the Lakes Region Conservation Corps AmeriCorps program.
