9 AM – 3 PM • AUGUST 3rd – 14th (10 TOTAL DAYS)

During this 10-day session (Monday – Friday), students will be taught the safe use of hand and a limited number of small power tools to assemble their boats. Prior to taking their boats home, students and their immediate families will gather for a picnic followed by a boat launching on Lake Wentworth. DUE to COVID-19 and social distancing class size will be limited to 8 participants.  Masks will be required at all times during the class. There will be NO PICNIC or GROUP LAUNCH this year.

Scholarships are available for those with financial need. Youth Scholarship Application

Your choice of boat:

  • CANOE: Two person canoe, 400lbs max
  • KAYAK: One-person
  • BEVIN’S SKIFF: An 11’6″ foot skiff that will accommodate several
    adults & can be adapted to handle a small outboard motor

PAYMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY TIME OF COURSE (a late fee will be assessed after this date)
