The New Hampshire Boat Museum in Wolfeboro will offer a Wooden Boat Restoration Course beginning October 18. “We had a terrific response to the first time we offered this class last winter,” indicated Board Chair Hank Why. “It's an opportunity to learn how to repair and rebuild a wood boat to achieve a safe, sound vessel while maintaining its beauty.” Read More

Free Presentation at the New Hampshire Boat Museum: “From Maine to Alaska via the Northwest Passage:  A 7500 Mile Cruise in a Lobster Boat”
Thurs., August 26, 7pm: 
Hear the story of the first recreational powerboat in history to have ever transited the Northwest Passage without icebreaker assistance.  The presentation will allow you to see the sights from on board the 46’ Maine lobster boat that was fitted out for the expedition.  The trip included major encounters with icebergs, sea ice and polar bears along the way.  Presented by Jim Boselli, a native New Hampshire resident, avid boater throughout the United States and Canada, and 29 year island dweller on Lake Winnipesaukee.
