COURSES OFFERED FOR 2010
Fall Wooden Boat Restoration Course
Starting October 18
The course is designed to remove the mystique of wooden boat restoration
and will cover such fundamentals as the assessment of an old wooden boat,
planking, steam bending, varnishing and more. The course consists of six
classes over a three-week period, to be held on Mondays and Wednesdays
from 9am to 3pm. The classes will take place in the Museum's Storage &
Workshop Building on the Museum property at 397 Center Street, Wolfeboro.

Race Results
The
model yacht group was established in 2008, with the assistance of the
New Hampshire Boat Museum (NHBM) and the Laconia Model Yacht Club, to
promote radio controlled sailing in the Wolfeboro area. Their mission
was to build and sail a fleet of sailboats, while providing participants

Community Sailing
The Wolfeboro Parks and Recreation Department
will offer weekly sailing lessons for Beginners, Intermediates and Advanced.
Enrollment is limited in each class.
For dates and times please check with the Town of Wolfeboro Parks and
Recreation Department directly.
Sailboats and chase boats supplied by
the New Hampshire Boat Museum.
