Hampshire Boat Museum Seeks Auction Items April 6, 2009 - Wolfeboro, NH The New Hampshire Boat Museum of Wolfeboro, NH is actively seeking consignments and donations for its annual New England Vintage Boat Auction to be held on Saturday, July 18. Auction Page Auction Consignment/Donation Forms The nonprofit organization will accept a wide variety of boats, including wooden, vintage, classic, fiberglass, canoes, sailboats, and kayaks. A typical selection includes vintage Chris Crafts, Centurys, Lymans, and Hackers in conditions ranging from excellent to good, useable to project boats, and a limited number of nice clean fiberglass power and sailboats. There will be something for everyone to consider for purchase. If you're looking to sell, this is a perfect opportunity. If you've had a boat in storage and are no longer using it, or if you've been trying to sell through traditional methods, consider donating your boat. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Consignments will also be accepted. Register on the Museum's website now to gain the maximum exposure as your boat can be featured as part of the event's promotion. The Museum is also looking for smaller items, such as rustic camp or lake memorabilia, in order to provide a wide variety on the auction block. Items can range from antique outboard motors and water skiis, Old Town canoes, camp tables, chairs, stools, lamps, and duck decoys , as well as a large variety of lake prints and water colors. As you do your spring cleaning, donate items no longer of service but still in good condition and help support the New Hampshire Boat Museum. The New England Vintage Boat Auction is the Museum's largest annual fundraiser and draws hundreds of registered bidders every year. The

The Museum will open for the season on Saturday, May 23 and is located at 397 Center Street, Wolfeboro Falls, 2 miles northeast of downtown Wolfeboro on Route 28, on a 12 acre site formerly part of the Allen A Resort property. Hours are Mon.-Sat., 10am-4pm, and Sun. 12noon-4pm.
