Rules: The regatta will be governed by rules as defined in the current edition of the “Racing Rules of Sailing,” as modified by Appendix E, the sailing instructions.
Eligibilty: The regatta is open to all boats of the US12 class whose owners are currently members of AMYA and are properly registered with the class or a recognized national authority.
There will be a limit of forty (40) participants.
- 9;00 AM Onsite Check-In
- 9:45 AM Skippers Meeting
- 10:00 AM Race Begins
- 12:30 PM Lunch Break
- 1:15 PM Racing Continues
- 3:00 PM No race begins after 3PM. Awards presented as soon as possible after the event.
Location: Regatta will be held along Bridge Falls Path, Glendon Street Municipal Parking Lot, Wolfeboro, N.H. (nhbm.org – programs – Model Yachting)
Entry: Eligible boats may enter by completing entry form online at nhbm.org / programs / Model Yachting or by mail. The entry form and payment must be completed prior to June 3, 2017.
Sailing Instructions: Sailing instructions and frequency assignments will be provided at skippers meeting, along with any rule changes.
Scoring; The regatta will be in accordance with the Low Point Scoring System as set forth in Appendix A of the “Racing Rules of Sailing.” For each six (6) races sailed, one worst score will be excluded from the overall score.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in the regatta.
Measurements: Measurements and class authenticity verification set forth in the US12 rules might be conducted onsite on a random basis as determined by the race director.
