The New Hampshire Boat Museum is an educational organization focusing on the boating heritage and life on the lakes and rivers of New Hampshire. We serve the local community and visitors by presenting exhibits and outreach programs, events, publications and hands-on activities.

CALENDAR of EVENTS FOR 2010

Model Sailboat Races Every Tuesday - We sail every Tuesday afternoon starting at 1 PM, weather permitting. Look for us on the Bridge Falls Path, right by the municipal parking lot, at the end of Glendon & Lehner Streets. Spectators and guest racers welcome

Thursday, August 26, 7pm - Free Presentation: “From Maine to Alaska via the Northwest Passage:  A 7500 Mile Cruise in a Lobster Boat”
Hear the story of the first recreational powerboat in history to have ever transited the Northwest Passage without icebreaker assistance. The presentation will allow you to see the sights from on board the 46’ Maine lobster boat that was fitted out for the expedition. The trip included major encounters with icebergs, sea ice and polar bears along the way. Presented by Jim Boselli, a native New Hampshire resident, avid boater throughout the United States and Canada, and 29 year island dweller on Lake Winnipesaukee. Free & open to the public. Enjoy refreshments and view the exhibits after the presentation.  

Friday, September 24 – Volunteer Appreciation Cookout
. The many volunteers who make our mission a reality are invited to join the Museum Board and staff for a “thank you” cookout.
 
Monday, October 11  Museum closes for its 10th season in Wolfeboro. Last chance in 2010 to see the beautiful boats, motors & memorabilia on display.
