The
course will evolve around wooden boat restoration using modern technology,
tools and materials to repair and rebuild a boat's structure in order
to achieve a safe, sound wooden vessel while maintaining the beauty of
the original factory shipped boat.
The class is designed to remove the mystique of wooden boat restoration
and will focus on hands on fundamentals such as the survey
of an old wooden boat, planking, steam bending, varnishing and more.
The course will be offered over a three-week period in January and held
in the workshop area of the Museum's Storage Building at 397 Center Street,
Wolfeboro Falls.
The cost for the course is $450 per person. Six classes will run 9am to
3pm on the following dates:

Wednesday, January 13
Monday, January 18
Wednesday, January 20
Monday, January 25
Wednesday, January 27
